Welcome to the After-School Art Program at Imhotep Academy

I am thrilled to introduce the After-School Art Program at Imhotep Academy! This program is designed to nurture creativity and artistic skills in students from 1st through 8th grade. With a focus on hands-on learning, students will have the opportunity to explore various art forms in a supportive and engaging environment.
Program Overview
- Schedule: Every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
- Time: 4:15 PM - 5:15 PM
- Location: New Art Room, H Building, Imhotep Academy
The program is structured as a weekly 3-day session, with payments being collected on a per-week basis. Each session will be filled with new projects, techniques, and opportunities for students to express themselves through art.
What to Expect
Under the guidance of our experienced art instructors, students will be introduced to various artistic techniques and media, from painting to sculpture, mixed media, and more. Each week will bring a fresh set of activities, helping students build on their skills and expand their creativity.
Ms. Jones will gather all registered art students from their respective locations within the school and escort them to the art room in the H Building. The sessions will be thoughtfully curated to cater to different age groups, ensuring that each student receives age-appropriate instruction and attention.
Pick-Up & After-Care Options
- Pick-Up Time: 5:15 PM
- Pick-Up Location: Main Office Parking Lot
Parents can conveniently pick up their children at the main office parking lot at 5:15 PM. If you are unable to pick up your child by this time, they will be escorted to the Imhotep Academy after-school program, hosted by Mrs. Miller. This ensures that all students remain in a safe and supervised environment until they are picked up.
